    LinkedIn Acceptance Rate Calculator

Enter your invites and see your gross and resolved acceptance rate printed as a receipt, graded against common outreach benchmarks.

CSV or TXT, up to 2 MB, read on your device. Needs a status column (accepted, pending, withdrawn); an optional note column fills the split.

    How the receipt works

    1. Enter or import invites

Type invites sent, accepted and pending, or drop a CSV with a status column. The receipt prints instantly with your numbers, nothing is uploaded anywhere.

    35%42%

    2. Read gross versus resolved

Gross shows accepted over everything sent. Resolved removes pending invites so you see the true rate of answered requests and can compare campaigns fairly.

    3. Tune notes and targeting

Use the stamp and benchmark strip to judge the campaign, then split by note against no note to decide whether personalization is worth the effort.

Gross vs resolved, with your numbers

    Gross rate

    88 ÷ 250 = 35.2%

Everything you sent counts, including invites still waiting.

    Resolved rate

    88 ÷ (250 − 40) = 41.9%

Only invites with an outcome count, so campaigns of different ages compare fairly.

What is good? Rules of thumb used by outreach teams: under 20% is cold, 20 to 35% warm, 35 to 50% hot, above 50% excellent. Illustrative, not an official LinkedIn benchmark.

Why pending skews it. Recent invites have had no time to be answered, so a fresh campaign always looks worse on the gross rate than an old one.

Notes and fit. Use the note split to test whether a short personal note beats a blank invite for your audience.

Targeting. A tight profile fit usually moves acceptance more than wording does, so check your list before rewriting your message.

    Frequently asked questions

How is LinkedIn acceptance rate calculated?

Gross acceptance rate is accepted invites divided by invites sent. The resolved rate divides accepted by invites that have an outcome, which is sent minus still-pending ones. Both are shown on the receipt.

What is a good LinkedIn acceptance rate?

Outreach teams commonly treat roughly 20 to 35 percent as average, 35 to 50 percent as strong and above 50 percent as excellent for targeted lists. These bands are rules of thumb, not an official LinkedIn figure.

    Should I count pending invites?

Count them in the gross rate for a conservative view, then check the resolved rate once many invites are still waiting. Pending invites lower the gross rate even though they may still be accepted.

    Should I withdraw old invites?

Many teams withdraw invites that have sat unanswered for several weeks to keep the pending list tidy. Enter them as withdrawn so they do not distort your ignored count.

    Does LinkedIn limit weekly invites?

LinkedIn limits how many invitations an account can send each week, and the limit varies by account. Set your own weekly cap in the optional fields to see how many weeks your target needs.
