Which stage is worth fixing first?

We add one percentage point to each stage of your Today funnel and measure the extra revenue it brings.

Your highest-leverage stage: Contacted → Replied, +$2,700 per point

    • 1. Contacted → Replied+$2,700 / pt
    • 2. Meetings → Won+$1,944 / pt
    • 3. Replied → Meetings+$1,620 / pt
    • 4. Leads → Contacted+$810 / pt

Calculated from your Today inputs: one extra percentage point on a single stage, all other stages unchanged.

    Formula margin notes

    The math, with your numbers

    Stage rate

    next stage ÷ current stage

    216 ÷ 1,200 = 18%

    Overall conversion

    won ÷ leads

    16.2 ÷ 2,000 = 0.81%

    Revenue

    won × average deal value

    16.2 × $3,000 = $48,600

    ROI

    (revenue − cost) ÷ cost

    ($48,600 − $4,000) ÷ $4,000 = 1,115%

Live figures use your Today funnel. Counts can be fractional because they come from multiplying rates.

    FAQ

    Sales conversion questions

What counts as a good sales conversion rate?

It depends on your market, deal size and channel, so there is no single number. Compare your own funnel over time and use the challenger to see what each stage improvement is worth, rather than chasing an average.

What is the difference between an MQL and an SQL?

A marketing qualified lead (MQL) has shown interest, while a sales qualified lead (SQL) has been vetted by sales as worth pursuing. Use them as stages in the funnel if you track them, such as Contacted and Replied.

How many stages should I track?

Four to six is enough for most teams. This calculator uses five (Leads, Contacted, Replied, Meetings, Won). More stages give detail, but each one needs reliable counts from your CRM.

Why does my overall conversion rate look so tiny?

Overall conversion multiplies every stage rate together, so it is always lower than any single step. A funnel with 60%, 18%, 30% and 25% stages converts under 1% overall, and that can still be healthy.

How does LinkedIn reply rate affect revenue?

Replies sit near the top of the funnel, so a small lift multiplies through meetings and wins. Move the Replied slider on the challenger and check the Biggest lever section to see the revenue effect.

    More from the corner

Your weakest stage is usually Replied. Flowkon helps you start more conversations.
